Sorry it took so long to provide an example of what I meant by 'Blocky Fire'.
Please excuse me as I have a mal case of laziness.

Just did this a few minutes ago: www(dot)roblox(dot)com/games/218168578/Stuff    <- You don't have to play it, just view it.

It's okay to just put a link! There is a button in the posts where you can input an URL, the site will generate a code so everyone can click it.

Aah the blocky fire actually looks really good! I guess that also looks nice in-game. I'm only worried how to make that fast Very Happy

I tried to but it said I must have an account over 7 days inorder to post an external life link.

Sorry, I don't know much about scripting but maybe you can make a invisible brick(about 4x4) and within it would be a script that randomly inserts 1-stud blocks randomly positioned in the invisible brick and and each block is randomly selected a color. Then, all the blocks ascend and as they ascend, their transparency will decrease fast. At 0 transparency, the fire brick would delete itself. Loop the script.

The blocks that are randomly inserted a position the the invisible brick should also have a random insert becaise then the fire would lack it's blazing affect. When the ALL bricks are inserted at the same time, it looks still but when they are inserted at different times, it looks like a blazing flame.

Also forgot to mention in post above, the inserted brick should also have a randomized cframe/angle on all 3 axis.

It's not a problem to create the fire effect. However, imagine that there are 300 objects on fire: I must loop 300 times, doing the same effect, for a lot of particles. I don't think that's gonna be nice, in the sense of performance. But I can always try Smile

About the URL posting: i try to figure out if i can remove that.
