Where do we start?
A good question. We need a good starting point to create a very good game base. I think we should go for playability as fast we can.
My proposal for starting points:
-Building
The world (that is, without a world, we can't play)
-Scripting
Spawning, Health handling
-GUIs
Health bar, starting screen (???)

That sounds about right. I might put up some tasks soon, but before we start this, I must discuss how we want resources. I may post something on the building category.

I agree.
The thing is - if we don't know it yet (I'm not sure about what aspects you are talking about now) - then we should try to make it as flexible as possible.
I'd have to note that the new game will support model resources (not one brick resources).
