I think when the character forages for things it should have an animation. Without an animation your character just sits there "...OH HEY SOME WOOD IN MY BACKPACK!". I don't know if you guys were thinking about adding an animation to it. But I think if there is don't go into great detail. I kind of like the idea of having the characters arms Meet in the middle and appear to be fumbling with something. So at least that way you know what they are doing.Smile

Sounds cool. Like a picking up animation? It could be done.

Yus! I am also focussing on this while making the basic API for this. The character will (doesn't have yet) a lot of real-life limbs which can be retrieved via a kind of limb system. Elbows, knees, they will all have the "rolling" capabilities!

The only problem is that bending over will be hard, considering that the torso always has to be upright or it will make it that way.

I'm using a "fake torso" so I don't think that would be a big problem, the only thing is that I don't know if it looks nice.
