The character
Here we go. First version of the concept.
The welds are called "Knee" / "Hip" / "Elbow" / "Shoulder".
Via the API, one can get these limbs;
And yes, that has been incorporated already.
I created the following. Look at the nice effects changing only the upper arm, upper leg parts and torso with a color.
Also note that this character is higher than a normal character, has taller legs, has multiple part legs and arms, has thinner arms.
The only thing I don't like is the torso, it's too small. Will be changed. (Oh, subscribe to the channel? )

Yeah, make the arms quite a bit longer (half way down the upper part of the leg), and maybe make the torso taller. If you're going to make the torso taller, you might want to make the figure shorter all together, so maybe just make the legs shorter.

Very well, I'll try to make it a dynamic script so we can just change "LegLength" values
I also tested a character where the width of the legs is not 1 - so you can actually see "between" te legs - which is more realistic.
More info soon. And a test - I also need to make some more animations such as jumping (which won't be this strange hopping as in normal roblox, but some serious jumping... I'll figure something out, the longer you press spacebar the higher you jump. Or something.)

I don't know if it's just me, but I am getting more and more the feeling that this is going to work. Flushing the old "test project" down the toilet, starting over. Difference: Can already program.
Difference: Modelled resources. That will be a huge difference. A really huge one.
