Hey guys. I'm itunes89, a 15 year old programmer.

I love programming,. I started when I was around 10, and now I know 14 programming languages.

I've been on Roblox Since 2009 and have made some cool stuff, but never a full game due to school and other stuff.

I'm currently working on a Voxel Engine in Java just as a tech demo.

Yea I'm not that good at these, so your free to ask me any questions.

We have already started.

Island building is open.

Coding is limited/open,but no published tasks yet. If you'd like to start on something, please contact me first with some details.

The problems with the "old stranded" were that I just let everyone make things, and it resulted in different styles and hard incorporation in the game. I want to avoid that in this project.

The different styles is why i love APIs.

I started programming at 10 too. Maybe it's like the perfect time to start learning to program? Anyway from my 4 months of programming i have gotten quite an experience. Especially with the GUI cloning. That makes the scripts like half shorter.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that another good thing about APIs is that you save on the amount of code since parts of it are actually written so instead of having to write out an entire activity it calls the function in the game's core API. That way it's all handles with the rest. Also the API combines the information so that it would go to the game rendering part of the API and does the following modifications. I have learned that while scripting might seem hard, it can actually get very organized. Thank you for teaching me that. From now on i will try to integrate EVERY SINGLE GAME i develop with my own API or library.

I started when I was 15, so don't whine everyone.

The thing is that you will learn things faster when you already got some "advanced" maths. Programming isn't learning a syntax, it's learning how to do things efficient.

Jobro has a point. Let's face it, a good 50% of lanuges we know, would have similar syntax.

What shows we can do it, is knowing how to do it right.

Programming languages were only made due the fact it's hard to code quickly in assembly. Programming languages are merely tools to write things down fast. The actual work - the acual programming - is the biggest challenge.
